Hey Adam, I'm not disputing this at all, since the political views of the family certainly don't go well with the league's overall direction towards social movements ( and this is clear even for a left-wing euro guy like me), but you got my attention there.
Is this something well-known around the league? And what are the motivations? Political or team-business oriented?
I don't see ORL becoming a winner in this league if the ownership is not welcomed by the players. And while, as I hinted above, I am suspicious this is the case, I never saw anyone writing it as clearly as you did here. And I know you don't write stuff wihtout knowing what you're talking about. Political.
Though our history of bad star player exits did not help.
You won’t see it written anywhere because that opens folks up to lawsuits, but there are agents/players who definitely avoid our franchise because of ownership.
Can you prove any of it or it's just " i don't agree with political view therfore they are evil" ?
Stars avoid Orlando because:
a) team never won anything
b) didn't pass first round of playoffs since some of them were 12 years old
c) it's not big market team
Bucks biggest FA in history is Greg Monroe and their previous owner, Marc Lasry was major democrat donor.
Maybe players don't want to play for people who support his political viewsOR maybe players don't want to live Milwaukee ?
Listen to interview of Lebron talking about his bubble experience and living in Orlando, and you will get why players don't go there. Zero to do with fans/owners/arena, all to do with lifestlye they prefer. He literally said he would retire rather than play.

THing is, those players are spoiled brats . They don't know nor understand politics, they live in their bubble, imaginary worlds where sun is shining for them.
Last presidental elections, less than 20% of nba players even voted
