And this is why you are an absolute joke of a poster.

Comparing a guy going into his 3rd season to one in his 8th as a gotcha.

Stfu about thinking you know anything regarding how prospects develop and pair down your hot takes to 1 paragraph so I don’t have to read through your (Please Use More Appropriate Word) train of thought.

How’s Vuc doing in Chicago as a 5th option? Are you there with him with his balls in your mouth?

Fultz is 25.
Suggs is 22.
You can pretend whole your life they are 10 years apart, they aren't.

In three years, i would not bet on ability of Suggs to learn things he never displayed he is capable ( like playmaking, pick&roll offense, or even having okey handles for PG) just like i won't bet on idea that 25 years old Fultz will "develop" drawing contact or shooting 3s.

My stand on young players is always the same. I think they don't develop that much after 2,3 yeras in nba.. That's been my train of thought for all players for very long period of time. I don't cherrypick that tought and apply to some who i don't like to , change it if player who doesn't develop is my favorite.
I think vast majority of nba fans think that development is miracle work, when, in my opinion it's more of players polishing existing skills and adjusting to lenght of season, pace, different defense.

Vuc is center on 5th best defensive team in nba, i should ask you, why aren't they contender if they are so elite on defense?

Tnx for beating own dumb argument, with even dummer personal attack.

aww so cute. Nothing more mature than personal attacks because somebody doesn't share opinion about basketball with you. Real maturity right there. <3

Jokic is criminally underrated as a defender. He's not a typical big that blocks shots but he's almost never out of position.

I tapped out on Hezonja after two years of him sucking. Sometimes you simply need to know when to cut ties, eat crows and move on.

Ditto to my Trae Young pre-draft stand. If somebody 100% proves you wrong, you can at least be decent enough to admit it.

“I can be a bad 1-on-1 defensive player, but I can be a really good team defensive player." . His own qoute from 2022.

It seems to be massive internet debate about how good/average/bad Jokic on defense is.

I think he is underrated defender in terms of being great at team defense, not doing anything dumb.
This is execlly how team with at least 3 individually- below average defenders, still won championship. Porter is just clueless on defense ( would argue one of worst wing defenders out there), Murray tries but has clear limitations. Jokic the same.
But their defensive scheme and them not having lot of mental mistakes & dumb errors, keeps their defense at good enough level for them to win. ( ofc KCP & Gordon are above average ).

It's not like Heat's roster was any different. Adebayo & Butler are elite. But Struss, Vincent, Robinson, Love are all rather poor individual defenders. However, they menaged to play solid enough defense in playoffs because they communicated and didn't made many defensive mistakes.

Our best defender is Mosely and that's very promising. Team Defense > Lockdown Defenders

*obviously, team defense WITH lockdown defenders included is best.

This trade wasn't some conspiracy - it was just a GM wanting AD bad enough where in most people's eyes he overpaid by a long shot to get him.

Boy did this thread run off the tracks in the last two pages. I think it is best that we go ahead and close this one before things get out of hand. All I will say is to just respect each other please. We all have our different beliefs on how the Magic should be constructed and not everyone is going to agree which is okay. Just try to avoid the personal attacks.
