Unless we are really down in the standings, we can't afford a 9 man roatation especially with the concern for JI , Suggs and Fultz health-wise.

Those guys aren't exactly known to be ironmen.

Season is a marathon... play everyone but keep the healthy. Load manage or give them a day off just make them injury free near the POs

It's near impossible to play more than 10 men and not intentionally suck.
And even if you do play 10 men, that 10th guy are on some 12-15 mpg / 4 shots a game.

Most teams tend to play 1-4 all the time anyway. 1 starter, 4 bench players. It also helps starter get going against weaker competition.

I think it was Miami who would play Bosh with bench players, and for bench units Bosh was unguardable.

What we have learnt in these three games is that Orlando needs shooting. Big shock!

And like 100 times better

Penny was dueling with Jordan, and in a lot of cases got the better of him.

Saying the initials AB in the same sentence as Penny is a travesty, and complete & utter disrespect to the legendary 1cent

If the Magic had won, M-Wagner was the vest winner and F-Wagner a cummerbund winner. The Brothers beasted it up this game!

p.s. Howard and Black combined for a 0-7 shooting line. Ugggg.

Looked like a disjointed preseason energy effort. Some guys played hard, some were just trying to put in light work.

It's preseason. Just chill.

I don't care about winning or losing a game in preseason. It's the turnovers that bothers me because last year the turnovers are what killed us in many of our games.

First two games they did a great job on turnovers but last night the energy and focus was lacking and was visible. Looked like what normally happens in preseason, a disjointed effort. I wouldn't take too many things away from this game.

Not true. Otherwise Shaq + Penny wouldn't have ever been a thing.

What I dislike is that this means Anthony Black might have been a project. Vs trusting that he had elements that were game ready to contribute today.

If true, I don't even realize what the implication are for Howard.

I wouldn't mind joining you in your riot though. Where do we start? Downtown? Winter Springs? Winter Park Village? College Park?

All 3? You realize this is Orlando right?

Would Millers Ale house be playing games this season?

Missed free throws, turnovers, securing the ball off of opponents missed shoots, 50/50 balls, etc.

The sooner we can get away from those mis haps, the sooner we become a legit good team.

It's the little things that killed the magic last season and those same little things killing them to start the pre season so far.

Man that's sad when you're a worse shooter than rookie Giddey. Giddey improved a lot but coming into the NBA people said he can't shoot worth a damn.

Hope AB will figures it out.

Maybe I am spoiled from Franz / Suggs / Reddick / Dipo days.

Not walking away impressed with Anthony Black and Howard thus far.

Howard felt like a reach. Anthony just seems like a super raw project out there. I could see some flashes in summer league but he might as well be non factor thus far except for vests warmups.

Well see. Not the end of the world just yet.

Giddey was a terrible shooter coming into the league and a terrible shooter as a rookie too, but very notably he was not a scared shooter or scared offensive player. He missed a lot, but he tried things and got better.

Black, at least right now, is playing without confidence offensively which is more harmful in a lot of ways. His immediate reaction upon receiving a pass or dribbling the ball up is to get the ball out of his hands as quickly as he can.

Agree...Cole and Suggs have certainly struggled with offensive efficiency and production...but never confidence or fear of the big shot. Hope Black shakes it off and forces FO to make some value decisions ASAP.

I'm good with this game, we weren't great, and still led until 1 sec remained in the 3rd.
All of our starters out, and we were playing a line up that hadn't had 1 minute together before last night.

I liked seeing Houstan and Jett out there together. wish some more of their shots fell.
Nice to see Okeke look good.
had a run of a steal, Block and a made 3.

Wtf

His 3 ball is noticeably better. Either way he is the best player on the team and I sometimes wonder what would happen if the team picked Jabari and focus featured Franz more on-ball.
