Nobody should. Nine shots sample size. It's usless to pay attention to sample size below at least 80 attemps. Given it's nba and fans love to overreact, at least 50.
I'm calling him a 40% 3-pt shooter as long as he continues to be over that. I had to listen to the " he's a terrible shooter " all summer before he even took a shot in the NBA.

I made the comment before he played that he hasn't missed a shot in the NBA yet. Then he went on to make the most shots without a miss at the beginning of a career in nearly 3 decades.

to be fair, he was. 30% from college distance. NBA 3 pt line is further away.
Yes, but he got more training in the past summer than the rest of his life combined. You can also see the work in the practice videos put out. Not all players put it that much work.

He 99,9999% still probably is. That's why using 9 shots is usless.
Case and point: Bol Bol

He shot 15/35 (42%) for 3 over first two years, than for rest of his career he shoots 31/134 (23%). That's why overreacting on sample size so thin is asinine.
99.9999, haha.

I'm happy that you found new golden cow. Hopefully this one works better for you than Bamba did

I ain't gonna get any deeper into anything you said about Black. I'll just say that i would bet my house on him being below league's average for 3 at the end of a season (assuming he won't pull Fultz and stop shooting for rest of a year).

Black is good young player, but shooting will continue to be his biggest obstacle

Our guards stink?

Jalen is shining this early season.

Anthony Black surprised me, especially his defense and 3pt shooting

Cole is solid. Leading the 6th man role

I think our guards all played beyond themselves this early season. Fultz is injured. He should be fine.

But blaming our guards is not the correct answer. Yes, we are not playoff caliber yet with how we play. But this team is still young and I think we can do it

I actually think this is a playoff caliber team. It is not a contender, but playoffs must be this year's goal!

"Guard depth" will make up for the individual warts all the guards have: all of them.
