Let's make this clear: not even Penny & Shaq or Dwight led teams have had better streak.

The ‘10-11 team included Dwight.

We got to watch the Wizards effortless dunks while Moe “guarded” the rim because Goga was in foul trouble. No, we need WCJ, he just need to come back focused as a more traditional center.

But I'll take any win we can get.

The kicker is that Goga has been outstanding in the starting unit. He’s providing what Carter does minus bad offensive possessions.

Mo cannot be replaced in the second unit. Period. He’s the best backup Center in the league and top 5 in fg% at the rim.

I’ve been an advocate for Carter for a while because of his contract value. However, I think it’s become apparent that we can move him to fill out the roster better and to utilize Goga/Mo when they are looking for contract renewals.

He’s at least better than Moe guarding the paint.

loved what moe had to say here....this isn't an overnight thing.....we had to go through some stuff to even get to where we were when we ended the season last year, much less where we are now....it feels good to have a direction now....by now last year i was looking at draft picks....haven't once looked this season

It takes many years of hard work to become an "overnight" success, as the saying goes.

Moe, like Cole, is in the perfect role for himself right now.

Come off the bench and absolute roast opposing backup centers for 8-10 minutes each half and then get the heck out of there before the lack of defense and rebounding becomes a problem. Don't need to extend him past that too much.

To your last point, I actually think it's the exact opposite. I think most posters at this point have a great understanding of what Moe is and isn't, but I genuinely think Carter is the most underrated player on the roster (at least from this board) by a lot.
excactly !!!! People on this board really underestimating carter , he was great last year and will upgrade our team , goga has been good but has many limitations and you are a fool if you don’t think wcj will be a major upgrade especially on offense

That’s not accurate. He is not a shot blocker like Goga but he does a really good job covering and clogging the paint. Don’t also forget how he got hurt, securing that critical rebound against Utah. Eventually we may be able to use Wendell as a trade piece to shore up the perimeter but short term we do need him back at some point. Goga has been fantastic, Mo has been sensational, this is great “problem” to have.

What’s his rim protection %? What proof do you have to backup this claim?

I think you could correctly say he is not a shot blocker, but his rim protection is not bad, maybe not elite, but not bad.

I think I misread your comment. I thought you meant to say that the Dwight’s group didn’t have a 9 win streak.
