Still say "sure why not".

We have weaknesses that look to be exposed though. We will see how we adjust to that adjustment.
How will we look when they shorten the rotation to 7-8 players and Suggs is getting 35 mpg and Isaac is getting 25-30? If Isaac is healthy, I believe they will play him way more in the playoffs.

Not saying that we will but I say we have a chance. If Embid gets hurt or someone in Bos gets hurt or Gianns/Dame then its wide open.

If we are healthy we will be a TOUGH out. I think we can beat a few teams. I wouldnt be shocked if we made the 2nd round. ECF I would be a little taken back. We still have not seen us at 100%. EVERYONE thinks we will falter but what if...what if... we are better.

We won't shorten the rotation (that much)...that is not playoff gospel. Our success is built largely on depth. Hopefully, we have enough able bodied guys by that time to keep coming at them in waves.

Playing Isaac makes us better, so I would be surprised if they don't play him more when a playoff game is on the line.

Yeah... let's be real here. The reason we have been winning is because of our rotations. When the other teams bench meets our bench, we usually end up winning them. So even if our starters get beat, that is where we make up for it.

If we have the advantage, why don't we use it.

The worry then (in addition to our really young roster having no playoff experience) is that as playoffs come around, rotations shorten and we'll be having our bench playing not against the other teams' 4/5 bench player lineups, but a 2 or 3 bench player lineup instead, and spending more of their minutes against the starters if we don't adjust our rotation in kind.

If our bench can hold the fort for our starters, then why not.. we will be more rested which we need because of our style of play.

This is where I'm at. Top 6 and coach is a lock for COY and Paolo/Franz are a top young core all-time. Win a round? Might be the best young core all-time, period.

The territory we are flirting with is truly mind-blowing. A young team should not be this good.

OKC might have something to say about that.....

But I agree, isn't our core younger by a lot?

Our core is younger. SGA is already hitting his prime!

its possible, but i wouldnt bet on it. Id be happy with just making the play offs. At some point this season this team is going to struggle. I just hope the FO isnt being too passive and will look to make some moves.

Depends on what we do with fultz and wcj (trading them for better fits), on Suggs/Black/Goga continued evolution, on Franz and Paolo getting to be consistant stars, and Cole and Mo bringing the bench wins.

I don't think all 4 of those things end up in our favor, so I would say no. If we somehow end up with HCA up to the ECF we at least have a small chance. Our energy and chemistry is our calling card. Gotta keep that solid too.

I think this absolutely can be a second round playoff team. The defense this team plays makes them a legit threat against any opponent. The key obviously is health. If this Magic team gets and stays healthy, a second round series is absolutely a realistic goal for the team this season.
You look confused...let me fill you in.
