Houstan had his opportunity to win the vest at the end of regulation. He hits that and he wins the vest with ease

I'm re-looking at that last shot, all he had to do was a quick fake, step over and he would have a wide open shot instead of having a hand in his face.
Houstan has a quick trigger and that's great but a pump fake once in a while and he would have wide open shots. Work the quick release to his favor.

I got my dad to watch the game. He hasn't watched a Magic game since we got rid of Horrace Grant. He had a lot of fun.

Paolo should get the vest and the key to the city

This trade wasn't some conspiracy - it was just a GM wanting AD bad enough where in most people's eyes he overpaid by a long shot to get him.

Meh..Not really a “Fultz Supporter” but if it were anyone else missing that much time they’d be given the opportunity to get in game shape. That hitch at the FT line really concerns me though.

Fultz' shooting hitch was just awful. He looked like a train wreck.

Banchero for the vest, obviously!
Houstan for the cumerbund: has Orlando found its SG?
Bitadze for the mittens: really efficient double-double. 14 boards is a great stat!

Lollypops for: Suggs, M-Wagner, and Queen.

Paolo - guy's on a whole different level...I'm kind of concerned that he's leaving Franz behind. I really Franz comes back firing because good teams need a superstar, but mediocre teams count on one guy to bail them out every night and they get worn down.

Love Houstan's night...not sure about his interview ability. He seems like a bit of a simple robot (like AG)...I sense that Mose programmed him to "hunt shots" last night and he certainly did. He took shots with defenders in his space that I think he passes on in less desperate lineups. Hope it's a big step forward for him and he stays there. I don't think he's the starter on a serious team, but definitely could be an important part.

Suggs, of course, was phenomenal on Trae. He's a bit of an emotional roller coaster - which is fun to watch when he's hitting but he'll need to keep it under control. He really is a wild man. As long as the shooting continues - we've got a real one.

Happy to see Chuma and Queen contribute too. They both worked hard on both ends. Nothing in the box score, but they contributed.

Brian Hill made an interesting point about the short roster. He said it actually gets "easier" because the handful of guys understands that it's on them to make it happen. The cavalry isn't going. Our depth has been important through the first quarter season. I think, ideally, we do some kind of consolidation trade that solidifies our starting backcourt and we start to tighten up the rotation, to a greater degree...so guys really know what's expected every night. Queen, Jett, Kevon, MCW are good enough for deep bench...let's toughen up our first 8 or 9...it's clear to me that Fultz and Isaac aren't in it, WCJ might not be, and Mo probably is.
