For Murray, I would give up two 1st round picks. If the Hawks wanted to shed more salary and send out Hunter, Capela or Bogie, I'd be willing to send them Jett as well as expirings.

For Tyus, I would give up multiple 2nd round picks and matching salary, nothing more. If they wanted to also send out Gafford and Kispert, I'd be willing to send a 1st rounder.

id give them harris/okeke and our 2 first rounders (top 6 protected)

thats a nice haul, they get a big expiring, a defender, and 2 shots in the draft.

and if we are serious about the playoffs, we really dont need those picks to develop this year, we have a ton of young talent and need a vet. we can take a year off staring at the draft, this is why you save those picks.

Tyus Jones

for

2024 Orlando 2nd Rounder & 2026 Detroit 2nd Rounder sounds right

Dejounte Murray

for

Orlando 2024 1st Rounder, 2025 Denver 1st Rounder, Markelle Fultz & Okeke

If push comes to shove, I would potentially throw in a couple 2nds or Jett in the Murray trade, and take on Capela's contract. I wouldn't take on Hunter's contract under any circumstance though. He's owed 20 mil this season then 21, 23, then 25 mil the next seasons. He's been a negative on both sides of the ball.

Murray all depends on if Paolo cosigns the trade. If Paolo isn't with it, I'm a no go on Murray. He's our franchise player, we have to consider him whe. it comes to something reasonable like a supposed beef btwn them two.

Yeah, we don’t have the assets for an allstar.

Getting a young up and comer that has proven he can run an offense is within the realm of possibility.

He's 27 years old... and has been a bench player for all 9 years of his career.

Yeah.. he’s not retiring in 2 seasons and doesn’t need to develop a complete game. That’s the point.

I think Paolo and Franz will be pretty disappointed if we just bring in a career backup like Jones to start fir us. Jones is probably not even better than Markelle.

This trade wasn't some conspiracy - it was just a GM wanting AD bad enough where in most people's eyes he overpaid by a long shot to get him.
