Anyone else experiencing crippling ads on iOS?

I wish they would upgrade this ancient (and likely unsecure) website to a modern web forum software.

I understand why they haven't though.
This software is so old that it would be a massive undertaking.
Probably needs a new host OS, new database, new PHP, new email handling, new everything.
I'd bet a nickel this software is too old to even run on a new host operating system.

These are the minimum requirements for a forum I'm about to upgrade:

XenForo system requirements
PHP 7.0 (8.2 recommended)
MySQL 5.5 (MariaDB and Percona also compatible)
PHP extensions: MySQLi, GD (with JPEG support), PCRE, cURL, SPL, SimpleXML, DOM, JSON, iconv, ctype

RealGM forums really haven't changed much since 2002.

For me, it just crashes a lot on iOS (Safari). The website on Windows PC generally does much better for me.

I love this site and the forums. I'd gladly pay a few bucks a month to get the ads to just stop crashing the site on mobile. By the way, this crashing happens a lot for me on news articles, as well.
