"I want to win" is an NBA trait.

Just watched all our clutch wins. My lord, Jalen had his fingerprints all over those wins. He's a winner.

I see a lot of people assuming that this current iteration of Suggs is his peak which is baffling because he’s only 23 and has shown us steady progress every year he was healthy.

We may have yet to see prime Suggs and would be idiotic to trade him prematurely because of apron rules.

You can’t stress continuity and organic development and then trade your homegrown players due to money. Seems a bit counterintuitive.

On paper Suggs is good role player. Fantastic defender with limited offense. I think Danny Green, KCP kind of player. Those are players who are very often on championship teams. If we pay him similar to what Danny got (15M a year in 2019) we have really nice core with space for more offensive help. I would hope we can get him at 4/90, maybe 4/100.
Its hard to judge his impact in the locker room. Guy is a competitor, care for his teammates. Other team wont pay for that and for us its priceless. I would be suprised if we trade him.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

Trade Suggs because of the financial hit later? No, we should keep the winning players around.... Not my money really so I'll let them figure that out

The back court is up in the air. The last thing you do is get rid of the guy that progressed more than any other player in one season because you are worried about cap space. To be honest, the team looked like trash when Suggs was out for any amount of time. He IS the defensive identity of this team and reason it was tops in the league last season.

Trading Suggs right now would mean this organization isnt serious about cultivating talent.
This is 100% correct. Paolo is the offense and Jalen is the defense. Let's rock with these two cornerstones
