Let it all out, your biggest issue with last night’s draft

It's not the fan's idea. That's Weltman. ...but I don't think it's something that he's 100% black and white on as much as some of his other priorities. He did draft Cole Anthony and Jett Howard as examples. Personally, I think Weltman cares more about his belief in the person and their make up. TdS mentioned that in his workout with the Magic that Weltman told him that the interviews normally go for about an hour, but theirs was 2.5 hours and could've been 2.5 more easily. Pretty sure we were locked in on him. That if we traded up, then it would've been to try to get him, not Knecht.

Plus, guys like Knecht are always available. FA options this year: Buddy Hield, Gordan Hayward, Fournier, Trent Jr, Malik Beasley, Kennard, McDermott, Gary Harris, Josh Richardson, etc. ....or should I say... Jett Howard. We already have a young backup SG. Knecht would've conflicted with Jett.

I'll forgive him if he goes and gets me one of George, Simons, Ingram, or Thompson.

I'm not holding my breath, but of those names Ingram is on my dream trade list.

PG is still my biggest worry. I want Dejounte Murray. I'd do what NYK did for Mikal.

The whole "the Magic could have traded back into the bottom of the first round!" schtick is kind of tough, man.

Literally one team traded out of the back half of the first round completely last night and it was the Knicks at 26.

Oklahoma City gave up five 2nd rounders over the next three years to make the deal happen.

Could the Magic have matched what OKC was offering? I guess so, but it also seems rather unnecessary to acquire another pick in a weak draft when you already have too much youth to play as is.

I'd take Dejounte as well. Not for 5 firsts, but maybe 3 and Anthony or something.

I just want us to realize now is the time to make a splash. We have space, there are guys available, and next offseason we stop having any cap space for the foreseeable future. We can not keep kicking the can down the road. We have hit the end of the road.
