I'll bite. I like this team.
This team so far shatters the expectations of every magic team since the Dwight years. They're young and already proven to be winners. They buy in to playing as a team. They are pretty damned good defensively. They have a really good young core. There's still some flaws to work on to get to the level of being a true championship contender but I believe this team is far closer than any team we've had for a very long time. Hopefully it all goes well for them and us magic fans.

Orlando has a better roster on opening night of 2024/25, than on opening night of 2023/24. I do not think that is debatable.

I like this team…a lot.
I’d like it even more with an offensive playmaker in the backcourt. They could, very likely, be the #1 defense in the league (health permitting)…the offense might improve but not enough to reach contender status. We had the worst offense among playoff teams last year- adding better shooting (but not better offensive players or schemes) is not enough…kind of polishing a turd. Defense is awesome but will only take you so far.
