0 turnovers. 5 rebounds. He contributed nicely.

Those rebounds were actually pretty important.

Yup!

I was watching locked on magic the other day and Phil was talking about gogas needed defense at the rim and he was holding players to like 51 percent at the rim..... Which is a great t number .... Yet was 4th on the team at the time with ... Wendell (3rd) at like 50 percent..... And second on the team was TDS in the mid 40s and JI at the low 40s.

We are legit building something scary

Oh man last night they ran the Black/Suggs/Franz/Isaac/Goga all-defense lineup for a little bit and how anyone consistently scores on that group, I really don't know.

Goga is miles ahead, and has a clear strength which gives the team more of an identity. If we go back to WCJ at C when hes healthy, ill lose my mind.

You are delusional if you think Goga is miles ahead.

Carter is clearly more skilled than Bitadze, better footwork, better offensive range, better shooter, tireless worker inside, can bang with the big 5s. He's been playing really well pre injury, doing a lot of the little things, the unseen work. I do think that he can lack feel at times, can get caught ball-watching, can fail to read ahead. He has awareness to make himself the play finisher, but he's not so.adept at setting others up. Not selfish at all, just missing feel.

Goga struggles to match up against bigger 5s. He's no outside shooting threat, doesn't have the range of finishes Moe or Carter have. In theory, he should be bad for our offensive game.

But he's got such feel, he's such a team first player, has such a knack for opening up.the game for others that he totally compensates for his lack of scoring ability by making those around him better. Everyone seems to have good playing rapport with him, esp Franz.

Not better than WCJ, but different. Not worse either. I really enjoy his playstyle.

I enjoy watching Goga and love what he does out there. He is more traditional center than WCJ.

WCJ can’t stay healthy and that will likely be his undoing.

I’m glad we have Goga as WCJ and JI have missed a lot of games in the past. Him holding down center is allowing us to win.

Agreed, I like that about Coach, he hasn't asked Goga to be WCJ, he's let him play to his strength, setting screens, passing and crashing the offensive glass. WCJ is asked to play as more of a stretch 5.
I do think stylistically, Goga makes the 4 players better around him, (which is what we are all enjoying) where as WCJ is a better individual threat.
