I'm not expecting KCP to be what he's never been however I do expect him to hit most of his wide open or open shots bottom line

This ultimately feels like the disconnect between you and what the front office is thinking.

Whether they end up right or wrong, it's pretty clear at this point that the front office believes in Paolo, Franz, Suggs and Black's collective internal development as what will drive things forward with this team offensively.

Not adding a veteran point guard or anything else.

But why wouldn’t they want better ball movement?

Have they been watching the same team we are every week? At times there are 2-3 guys at most on the floor that are even capable of getting a bucket. Maybe 1 other guy not including Franz or Paolo.

KCP didn’t solve that issue this offseason… obviously.

I don’t think it’s a case that the Magic’s front office doesn’t want or doesn’t value better ball movement and shot quality.

I just think they believe that ball movement and overall offensive efficiency is going to naturally improve as Paolo and Franz and Suggs and Black all continue to get better.

It’s unfortunate, but we haven’t really seen the core of this team healthy for more than a couple of games this year.

Don't remember the details, but on one sign was written something like we traveled 7k kilometres to watch you play directed to Moe and Franz. You can only hope they can afford to stay for another game.

That's pretty hilarious. The reporter asked if it was the game plan to leave open the 3 pt shooters. You could tell it wasn't. That's just how bad their defense is, and it worked out in this game.

You can tell he wasn’t happy in this interview. All that work and no one on his team helped him. It reminds me of some games where Paolo would have a huge night but had no one else who could score.

Idk about Melo. Super talented but seems like a dope…that definitely puts a ceiling on a player - at least as it pertains to winning. I think you can get more out of interviews than combine measurements.

I was told by a very good source that a team doc, upon first meeting rookie AG, said “dumb as a bag of rocks”.

There’s quite a few guys like that in the league…I dont see any of that in ORL and it’s probably no accident. I’ve posted lots of trade ideas for talented guys that NBA execs probably shake their heads about…be careful what you wish for, I guess.
