So you think cole + Jett for Sexton and Olynyk?

I just feel like Cole is not going anywhere. He is hitting a stride and is a big part of this Magic family. I am not saying this is right or wrong but I just do not see us making a move this year. Maybe next..

Harris & picks too…I’d love to keep Cole for the flashes and the vibe…but he’s too expensive now for a deep bench role. We ARE highlighting deep bench guys atm, and they’re stealing fun wins, but tomorrow’s hopefully a better picture.

The Jazz will want young assets for Sexton. I cannot see any interest from Utah for Harris.

I actually think Harris retires on the Magic. He loves collecting the check. Doesnt mind being a starter, back up, 3rd string. Unless we trade him, he is going to be our 10-15th man and I am ok with that. He knows we are about to start contending and wants to be here for it. No other team is going to offer him that much of a larger role.

I feel like Jazz will value picks more as they already have a whole roster full of raw kids. Honestly, as great a fit as Sexton is, IMO, his contract makes him a superior Option 1 to Simons (who is a good 1B), I'm not confident Ainge will be as easy to deal with as POR. I could see Ainge having his eye on building a pick stash like OKC's so he can flip a switch when he's ready. I think Lauri's staying, so they can't drag the rebuild out forever.

Jett's young too.
