Not sure if it was addressed, but why did we go back to Wendell in the starting lineup?

Because Goga hasn't done well since coming back from injury. Goga seems to mesh better in the offense led by Franz. On the second unit, he plays mostly with Franz leading the offense.

We need to play a lot more of the Franz Goga pick n roll and then figure out a way to bring Paolo into those sets.

It's amazing how well Franz gels with the second unit. I guess the theory is Wendell gels better with Paolo.

Games like these shows how badly the Magic need a PG. Someone like Simons would do wonders for this Magic team. I really like Paolo doing work after setting a screen rather than someone who sits up an offense. The screen setting really got him going in the second QT. With someone like Simons, who can create off the pick or give it to Paolo, it would be a great combo. Honestly having a PG and Franz being the primary options on the perimeter, with Paolo working the inside (mainly the post and the top of the key) would be amazing too.

Additionally, the center position really needs to be addressed as well. Carter had a great game but I don’t see Gogo or WCJ as starters

I don't dislike Simons, but he's not a point guard.

He's basically Cole with a better/more willing 3PT shot.

That is the thing, Simons is not necessarily a pg. However, when Cole plays well as starter the magic look good. Imagine a better version Cole. But any pg that can pass and shoot will help this team.

A win is a win but not feeling great about It. We could have easily lost that game if Cole didn't go clutch last min. The coaching staff once again making it harder for Paolo/Franz. Gary Harris being first off the bench and continuing to get minutes instead of Jett is just perplexing. Makes absolutely no sense.

Jett is not good man.
