Just curious, would you guys trade Banchero straight up for Scottie Barnes.

I wouldn't even consider it... and I like Scottie.

Outside perspective:

The guy you need to invest in is not Trae, Book, or LaMelo. All three are elite self-creators, and Trae is an elite passer, but none of those guys are elite three point shooters.

You want a good passer (doesn’t need to be elite, you’ll run a lot of stuff thru PB/FW), a passable defender (Suggs is the POA guy anyway), and an elite shooter. That plus a rebounding rim protector center, preferably with a shot, but that gets expensive.

I don’t know how you get Myles Turner (a bit soft on the boards, but so be it) and Darius Garland (or perhaps Payton Pritchard?) without touching your big 3 guys. But something like that should be the goal.

I posted a trade idea recently that brought back Turner and Nembhard...but I have to say the rebounding thing is a concern for ORL. Guys that chase blocks are generally not great rebounders and ORL's two forwards are not big rebounders because so much of their play is perimeter-based...I wonder if a floor-spreading C would move Paolo & Franz into better rebounding position or just be a rebounding calamity..."Cole Anthony got 7 rebounds again, he's really good for a guard" (but ORL loses again)

I'm wondering if some throwback 12 rpg type (like Kessler, etc) would be a better fit...even if limited offensively. If we add that long overdue PG to also find him and draw defenders, a simple brute like that, playing next to Franz and Paolo, would be getting 10ppg just off of dropoff dunks and lobs.

So Rhonda made tweets about the team? Honestly, I’d consider this a red flag, especially coming from the star players’ side.

I thought so :)
Although a propose trade I saw here suggests someone would consider it, based on their expected return ;)
