That is just not what the goal or objective was coming into this season at all.

100% And-1

The goal this season was 50+ wins and at least round-2 of the playoffs.

The players and coaching were very, very clear that "at least the 4-seed" was the minimal expectation.

There are good points for both sides, not sure where I stand on this.

Yes, he can. Play Flagg at center or play F-Wagner at point guard.

Flagg isn’t an option. Stop.

The point of getting a higher % pick is to trade it for an actual asset that can help Paolo, Franz, and Suggs. Not to draft and develop a 18 year old in the 7-15 range using Weltmans bust metrics (length and Michigan).

If Orlando fails to make the playoffs and wins the lottery, this pick gets traded. For something awesome.

We are talking about a Caldwell-Pope, Isaac and the overall#1 for Jalen Brunson type of trade!

If last year never happened, I would say playoffs. But I gotta go with lotto. Theres still time to get to 11. At 11 you have a 9.4% chance at a top 4 pick. We don't have a 9.4 chance of winning a series. Hell, we might not have a 9.4 chance to win a single game vs Boston or Cleveland in the playoffs. I'd rather take my chances in the lottery.

If we magically got Flagg…we figure it out. Nobody in the league trades that pick. He’s extremely versatile like Franz…you figure it out.
