This is a message for him. Nobody will miss him.

I’ll miss him.

The guy is a terrible defender and the team was worse with him when he was on the court in playoffs. He is slow and low iq. Sometimes he can hit a three. Thats G-league level. Give me a reason why should we watch him another year? He has not developed at all in three years.

I have no wish to convince you. I’ll still miss him.

Caleb Houstan is two-way contract eligible. I'm sure he's hoping for a guaranteed NBA deal, but he could still sign a two-way with Orlando or someone else.

maybe he starts the season this way and gets converted to a standard contract if a move is made?

Would suck to have him glued to the bench in the playoffs as a two-way though... especially if Jett shows no progress.

I think a lot of teams would be eager to sign him.

Post ASB Houstan shot 51% from 3, making 1.7 on 3.3 attempts in 17mpg.

If he can do that within an offense that is predominantly Paolo and Franz isos with neither being particularly good at kicking out to shooters, imagine what he’ll look like next to Tyus or Bane.

I think the guy will end up having a JJ-like career when it’s all said and done.

He would feast on a team like Milwaukee or Indiana. If he doesn’t stay with us I hope he goes there because he deserves to be somewhere that will maximise his contributions.

Was thinking of DEN. Him being spoonfed by Jokic with his gravity ensures wide open setshots all day

Oh yeah, great call.

Basically he’d crush on any team that knows how to use shooters. Our offense doesn’t do that yet, and he’s still managed to look elite in spite of that.

The Magic could profit from a better Coms guy than Cohen, but the Magic-generated content of the video is interesting.

That's why I really want to find a way to keep him...all of the changes, most of all Prunty and Tyus, might be transformative. EVERYONE but Caleb had their worst shooting seasons...Caleb, in a viable NBA offense, could be a revelation...and cheap.

Maybe Jett too, I guess.

I can’t wait to see Tyus out there with our guys. Seems like a big upgrade from CoJo. CoJo made things better despite his skill level.
