OT- Reggie Bush and USC have issues

Post#1 » by craig01 » Fri Jan 11, 2008 12:31 am

The book's authors, Don Yaeger and Jim Henry, acknowledge that Lake "has been compensated in return for his full cooperation," according to a story posted on the Los Angeles Times' Web site Thursday. Lake's family members also were quoted extensively.

The book hints that USC coaches may have known about some of the arrangements, but it does not provide evidence that any school official was aware of alleged improper gifts.

Bush has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing.

Could this be a reason for Pete Carroll's recent interest in the Falcons?

This is old news, but the book will be out soon, and USC officials will have lots of answers to give. My gut feeling is that USC will get burned on this as there is apparently documentation to support the interviews.

At minimum, Bush may be found ineligible........... If so, bye bye NC's, and Heisman.

not to sure..petes name comes up every year for coaching jobs in the nfl, and then he backs out..i think he just wants to feel important so he says he's interested...i bet usc isnt the only school doing this, i just think it happens way to much with them, i hope they get burned in the end
