hey guys i have to get office because i only have the trial and it will end soon. So which one do i get: microsoft office standard 07 or office home and student?
theres a 10 dollar difference between them and only other differences are standard has outlook (the other doesnt) and home/student has onenote instead (the other doesnt)
i dont currently use either outlook or onenote (and dont know what they are for), but the thing is, which one is more important/better to have later on because if its only 10 dollars id like to get the better package...thx

Open Office sucks balls if you do anything halfway serious.
Get the version with Outlook, I doubt you'll ever use OneNote. I also do not use Outlook, but it is a pretty good email client.
EDIT: A nice, free, alternative to the crap that is Open Office is Symphony from IBM. It is built basically on top of OO with some improvements (and some things that make it worse) http://symphony.lotus.com/software/lotu ... /home.jspa
Try out OO and Symphony before you go and buy Office if you're not a 'power user'

That's a sweet deal.
I bought the software through MS's involvement with my university and it cost about $30 more.
Either way, vastly cheaper than usual.
