Funny thing is if that trade did happen then Odom numbers would improve and Hedo would start looking like Hedo past years since he be deferring as a 3rd to 4th option.
if Hedo were on the Lakers his numbers wouldn't be there, but his value to the team would still be pretty recognisable. he'd be Toni Kukoc V.2.

What I had in mind was:
Lamar Odom
Coby Carl
for.
Hedo Turkoglu
Pat Garrity
Carlos Arroyo
Obviously Hedo is playing out of his mind this year.. I'm just wondering if you guys would rather have a versatile 4 who can average 15/10/5 for instead of 2 guys who play almost the same game, in Rashard & Hedo.
With Bynums extention coming up this summer the Lakers will have Kobe at 20 mil per, Gasol at 14+, Lamar at 14+ & Drew between 10-13.. Obviously we aren't going to keep that core intact & Lamar is the odd man out.. Hence wanting to acquire a more affordable SF along with some expirings..
Let me know what you guys think
You know without Hedo we would suck.
No way.
But the funny thing about it is why trade a Hot player to your team. Your hopping that he stays hot.

Hedo has never had a season like this, he is overachieving at a huge level.. Maybe it's just the system is a perfect fit for him, so aslong as that is in place he will continue to excel.. But don't forget how good Lamar was playing the 4 in Miami..
Hedo is a career 11.3/4/2.3 guy..
Lamar is a career 15.6/8.7/4.5
Lamar is a better all around player, Hedo is having a great season.. But at the end of the day that's all it is, 1 season.
Anyway I can see this isn't going anywhere.. Maybe you need to hire Jerry West as an advisor![]()
Then we can swap Lamar out with Vlade lol
your logic is idiotic... ya hedo is having a career season but each season he gets better and he is only going up. wheres lamar going all the way down, can tell you havent spent much time on real gm or youd know this. im still amazed you think that this trade had a chance in hell
