Do you think Howard would be affected if he played alongside a guy like O'neal?

It really depends on Jermaines' ego. If he can defer to dwight, he can be Tony Battie x2

I think he would fit great. All he does is jack up jumpers from the elbow, and it allows Dwight to play around the basket where he is at his best.. But then again, Oneal is always injured.

Actually when healthy he is a borderline franchise player but with all the concerns about his health giving up too much for hiim is a gamble at this time... but still if he could get it together he would a fine addition.

O'neal is the kind of player GM Smith would think about trading Turkoglu for. He simply is to perfect a fit, and to good a player.

The guy is making nearly 20 mio a year... how do you fill the gaps? What about a straight up with Rashard? Its still too risky I guess because of the health issues...

My non-answer to your first question is one of a very long list of reasons nobody would ever give me a GM job in the NBA.

As for Lewis, he is not going to be traded. The issue is the irrelevant for consideration.

Bother to explain why... Oneil is making more... or is Lewis the next MJ?

Throw Hedo in? The guy who is winning games for us ..we just throw him in? Are you insane? What is with fans wanting to get rid of Hedo? He's having literally an All Star year! This is the first year in this particular line up, healthy and under a new coach. Yes let's blow up everything for O'Neal.

I would see it being a 3 team deal, so we do not have to part with any of our role players like Dooling and or Evans.

No he wouldn't affect Dwight's game because he spends more time in a suit than on the basketball court. Considering that, he wouldn't affect anything with the Magic except the salary cap. That being said, let him stay in Indiana or take up someone else's roster space. I like Jermaine but over the last few years, he's been hurt more than he's played & when he does play, he's still hurt & not effective.

Too expensive, if we were gonna go after someone it would have been gasol. Far more reasonable salary level than O'neal.

Idk if the Pacers have any use for Hedo with them liking Dunleavy and Granger.

Perhaps if we did a trade of Hedo, Arroyo, Garrity, Redick, Rights to Vasquez and Future 1st Round Pick for Jermaine O'Neal, Graham, and Owens.

I really don't wanna trade Hedo, but it wouldn't be horrible if we made this trade.

Personally I'd rather just package up Arroyo, Garrity, Bogans, Redick, Vasquez, and Future 1st Round pick for VC. We need a fill at 2 guard and pf. One of the two would help us.

Yeah, Pat Riley traded away Shaq to rebuild around Wade, and Wade's not a free agent for two years. That's going to happen.....
