I do not agree. Many of the current SGs will move on this coming off-season, and certainly the next. The minutes are coming. And that's why he hasn't been traded yet.

Let's say that GM Smith signs on FA SG to start, moves all others, and re-ups Redick to be a big-minutes backup, he would ink that deal.

apparently JJ writes poetry. he's got some strong words toward the end of the video: "I was the inspiration to Martin Luther King, I'm the reason Ray Charles can sing." there is no doubt that he was probably one of the most hated college players of all time. but i am impressed with how he stayed composed during all those games and shut everyone up with his play on the court. i've followed duke for a long while now, since my older brother was a huge fan of them while growing up. i'm rooting for the guy. if he plays hard during practice i dont see any reason why he can't get at least 5-10 minutes a game.

The only problem I see with him waiting until next year for minutes, is that it will be the same exact situation. The starting lineup may not change enough to need shooting from the 2g, and SVG might still want rebounding from that position. Unless SVG is telling lies, JJ wont get minutes next year either because he's not what SVG wants at that position. I feel bad for the kid, he only needs a chance, and he made a good point that we aren't getting much defense out of our 2g when so many players have career nights against us. I can't blame the kid, atleast he has the desire and work ethic and isnt content sitting back and collecting his paycheck. He really just wants to play, and if SVG/Otis cant comply than he should be traded.

If the Magic trade their expiring for a new starting PF, Redick needs to be shipped. It would be patently unfair to slide Hedo to the SG slot further burying JJ to the bench.

so for that reason i think we should hang on and try and work him into a few games this year and push him next season...

Haslem is just a perfect guy for us...there arent too many guys out there that are young and offer what Haslem does that we could trade Red for...

Did you seriously just say that? Wow.

Thats it.

C'mon, three or four stories within a week or two about his trade demand and lack of PT.

Lets just wait and see what we'll get back in return.

I don't know about that.

The other story that they have been writing about all season is the point guard spot, and Van Gundy basically told them after Wednesday's game that he was tired of answering questions about it.
