Gasol is a standup guy. I would like to whip Fran Vazquez in the but cheeks with a hot towel.

Vazquez is a better international prospect than Marc Gasol.

Honestly, this is laughable. At present it's not, and not even close.

M. Gasol is a 7'1" 270 center, member of the Spanish NT, 5 times POW and 2 POM halfway through the season in Spain.

Vazquez is a vastly overpaid role player regressing each year, still has the tools but he's too comfortable with his paycheck and probably will be lucky enough to land another decent contract thanks to his in-famous draft selection.

I almost feel like Vasquez is Vazquez, and misspells on purpose.

What Gasol said reflects exactly what everybody in Spain thinks about the guy. I have doubts about his performance in NBA while in Spain he isn't even a starter in his club and lost his spot on the national team roster. Sometimes he looks great but there are a lot of matches where he doesn't make anything on the court, quite inconsistent.

And there are more troubles to go Orlando. I think he actually has a 7 million euros (about 10 million dollars) buyout contract with Barcelona. With Navarro Barcelona reduced his buyout, but anyway Navarro has to pay with his own money that quantity and I don't think Vazquez would do such a thing.

Yeah, we know all that. We have been hearing about it for more than two years now. And it gets reiterated every time he signs a new contract. That's why I think everyone who follows the Magic should just consider it a wasted draft pick and that he is dead to the team. I don't think he has any plans to come here unless at some point possibly he decides to come here only because no one in Europe will sign him anymore. Fool me once, shame on you. And after that, I have no interest in you.

Bingo.

He's running out of suckers in Europe. Hence, the NBA door is always left open by him.

He's a noodle.

1) Movement 2) Application of fundamentals 3) Predictability

This is generally true. As one example, Mario Kasun has been a much better player on the same team. The argument here is that Fran's game is more suited to how the NBA is played over Euroleague.

Thats a bit harsh I think. I do not like the way that he leveraged us for a bigger deal in Spain, but the guy does have some nice up side to his game. I don't rely on the fact that he can't get consistent minutes in Europe. Its a totally different ball game there, full of politics and the fact that the veterans get the PT no matter what in most cases. Now I'm no Fran expert, but just looking at those Youtube videos you can see that he has a lot of talent for a big man. I'm not ready to totally write him off yet. He can't be any worse than Cook, Auggie, or Gortat. The bar isn't that high for him presently. I hope we hold onto him.

I'm tired of hearing about Fran Vazquez. I prefer not to talk about him unless he's in a Magic uni or being traded for a player who can help us.

Fran Vazquez is an asset. As such, all news and opinions will continue.

Perhaps. The past has shown that Euro players that are not productive in Europe will not be productive in the NBA.

Kid is not worth even talking about. Potential can only be talked about for first three years in potential NBA career. He sucks. Saw him play in person. Forget about him and move on. Mario Kasun is better than him, both now and in the future.

Are you saying that you didn't love S. Mario's game???

Kasun was almost as good at giving 6 fouls as the hammer.
