PF with expirings = mediocre.
AK = good PF.

Not if Hedo hampers Shard. How do you propose we play Hedo? Off the bench? So only Shard or Hedo can be on the floor at the same time? Great.

At SG? Alright, take out Mogans, put Hedo on, say, Dwyane Wade, Kobe Bryant, Micheal Redd, Rip Hamilton, even Vince Carter. Let's see how that works out for 48 minutes.

Why would Hedo be so much worse on SG's than Evans? Evans has played well, but it is not like he is shutting people down. Hedo is an underrated defender.

Also, if Hedo comes off the bench...why does that mean that he and Shard can never be on the floor at the same time? I am pretty sure Haslem would need a rest at some point....or Evans. Hedo has excelled as 6th man before, why couldn't he now when playing the best ball of his career?

Starters:
PG Nelson
SG Evans
SF Lewis
PF Haslem
C Howard
A good mix of defense (Howard, Haslem, Evans) along with offense (Howard, Lewis, Nelson).

2nd Unit:
PG Dooling
SG Bogans
SF Hedo
PF Lewis
C Howard
A good mix of defense (Howard, Dooling, Bogans) along with offense (Howard, Lewis, Hedo).

3rd Unit:
PG Nelson
SG Hedo
SF Lewis
PF Haslem
C Foyle
A good mix of defense (Haslem & Foyle) along with offense (Hedo, Lewis, Nelson).

Crunch Time:
PG Nelson
SG Hedo
SF Lewis
PF Haslem
C Howard
Best 5 players on the floor.

Hedo still gets his minutes. Rashard can play more SF. We have more defense. Why not?

Not quick enough.

If he's playing the best ball now, a change in situation, players on the floor with him, minutes, etc will likely diminish his effectiveness.

Whats up with all the Hedo hampers Shard BS???

Its not like Hedo is beating up Shard or sleeping with SVG to get ahead... the guy is delivering when plays are needed.
All these trade Hedo thread will turn into pleads for a real PG(don't forget the Magic have none) when Shard turns into a turnover machine in crunch time. You need skill to do the things Hedo does so show the guy some respect.

did hedo do these things when grant was on the floor the last two years?? was grant beating him up?? sometimes players just dont excel together... and it seems as shards numbers have fallen off when comboed with hedo ... could it be that hedo could actually be having a slightly negative impact on shard??

No I don't think so... or I doubt it. If Shard could do the things(creating for himself or others) he would do it already because he is the 118 mio guy. Even if you are right & Shard produces more this does not mean that the team will more games... he could easily turn into a turnover prone SF.

if hedo does all these things why didnt he do them when grant was on the team?? sometimes people deffer to others for what ever reason... its proven shard can do more he did it for along time in seattle... im not saying trade hedo im just pointing out that if a great trade comes along with hedo involved you have to consider it

but you are right it doesnt mean we will win more... but it doesnt mean we would lose more either
