I don't understand why seattle would trade Thomas over Wilcox? Isn't Green their PF for the future? aren't they looking to make space to get a big time FA? I mean KT is an $8 mil expiring contract..Why would Sea want more expirings for an expiring?

If anyone on that Sonics team we need NEED to make a push for Wilcox..The guy is one of the most underrated players in the game. He is consistant on both ends of the court and rebounds well.. Not to mention is decently young.

Bogans
Pat
Arroyo
Auggie
Fran
Future first
Cash

For

Watson/Ridonour
Wilcox

That takes away their 3rd guard, gives them MORE expirings instead of expirings out, expirings in. Gives them a prospect player and a pick.

With Arroyo and KT off this summer they get 12 mil in expirings(if not more)..

With Bogans and Wally next summer they get 14 mil in expirings(if not more)..

Two summers straight with good FA markets? How could they pass that up?

With that being said, KT as spinedoc said is only a one year bandaid, and really doesn't do us much good.We need to get players with a few years left on their contracts and have some legs in them.

we can forget about haslem. any deals going on between miami and orlando that you hear about are just hogwash. after the trade for stan (and because of the division rivalry) there is bad blood between our two teams. After fully reading this article again i am for getting thomas out here i believe if he can stay healthy he is an upgrade to battie. and from what this article says wilcox and collison are not available. so as long as we wouldnt have to include dooling in the mix i say do work otis

I dont know if anyone posted this or heard this, but if its already posted then I'm sorry. I was listening to real rock in the morning and the shot doc came on and said the Magic and Rockets were talking about Chuck Hayes coming to the Magic and didnt say whats going to the Rockets but suggested JJ. I dont really trust shot doc so you never know.

Sry no link it was on the Radio and I didnt want to clutter the page with a new thread so sry to the op for poping in on this one.

Sorry, but I wouldn't give Shot dr a single percent of credibility regarding having insider info.

He's probably just creating speculation in hopes that at least one person will listen to his show and maybe call in. LOL.
