Plus, then we have Hedo playing the 4.

I don't think that JJ or Ariza would be starting at the 2 either.

Ive already voiced my views on that subject in other threads. :vent:

This thread is simply in the interest of something interesting.

So what could have been this past summer?

What if we didnt use the full cap space all on Rashard?

Hindsight is wonderful but this is what couldve been...

Gerald Wallace, Mo Williams, Andrae Blatche, Grant Hill>>>>Rashard Lewis

What do you guys think?

What combination would have been best...Or was signing Rashard our best option?

These type of posts show me that some people are delusional and/or really have little idea of whats going on.

Gerarld Wallace: restrcited FA and Cha made it known they inteded to match any offer.

Mo Williams: restricted FA, Mil matched Miami's offer.

Grant Hill: better that he moved on dont you think? I think so for both parties.

Andray Blatche: dont know if he was restricted but he got a pretty large long term deal from Wash for a relative unknown.

The possibility of getting all those guys in FA with our capspace was very very very very low. Almost impossible. With Wallace, we would have had to offer quite a bit more than the 10 mill a year he got for Cha not to match. Same with Willams. He signed for the MLE with Miami which was matched. We would of had to offer quite a bit more than the MLE.
