So the article says he plays better with good players, and struggles carrying a bad team, earth shattering. I think we can help with that. Stiffs don't shoot three pointers and run the fast break. Maybe he's dumb as a rock, but all you have to do is look at the youtube video to see he has talent. I'm hoping he will good, because we're going to need him.

Augustine and Gortat > Fran. At least they both have a future as decent role players.

Again, statistic mean very little in Europe. Plus, Fran's game is more NBA-physcial type than the Euro-finesse play.

Just like the article said, when surrounded by decent talent, he can thrive.

What are you using as reference here? Was it all the minutes Marcin played this season that caused him to prove himself? Or was it Augustine's impressive play that has caused him to be a staple in the rotation?

I just can't agree with this statement at all since we know at best James is an end of the bench, last option big guy and Marcin is still very much an unknown.

I'll still take my chances with Fran over these two.

I'd just like to see these guys play and then come up with who is > than who.

I think both Augustine and Gortat could arguably be more productive than Foyle right now. I don't know what Stan doesn't like about those two but likes the lead footed 2 inch vertical stone hands of Foyle.

Fran > Foyle or Auggie or Gortat

Fran athletecism > Gortat athletecism > Auggie or Foyle athletecism

Fortunately, the NBA limits how much teams can contribute to a player's buyout, so Fran's eventual move to the NBA can't cost the Magic more than $500k.

Even after reading this report, I still think he'd be the most talented big off the bench right away. Also, given how kooky and political Euro rosters and playing time allotments can be, I'm not that disappointed by his playing time and production.

Also, given how limited the Magic are now that the expiring K's are going to expire, I believe that Fran has to get a shot.

I still want him to come over. I think people just hate him for what he did and have convinced themselves that he's awful.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

I'm pretty sure if the defenders all guarded my four teammates, I could look pretty productive.

Fran would be a bit of a project, but his talent is a better fit in the NBA than Euro style of play. We need to bring him over and see what happens. He is too talented not to bring over and coach up and see what happens.
