Shaquille in Phoenix
I honestly thought it was a bad move at first but the guy has 13 rebs right now probably will get more. He only has 4 pts but 13 rebounds and 2 blocks he really is helping out there. When he learns how to anticipate Steve's passing his pt number will probably go out. But i think it's safe to say, sparing he gets injured, he is definitely a plus to Phoenix.

People need to stop underestimating Shaq. He then gets pissed off, works his a** off, and laughs at all the haters while he puts on a fresh championship ring.

The only reason the rebound numbers are so skewed is because 25 turnovers. boston only had 40 reb opportunities and that doesnt even take into account offensive rebs.

I dont really see that as a plausible excuse for Boston, that just points out how great defense they played. Which can also be credited to shaq because he has been doing great guarding the post and he seems to have motivated the rest of the team also. and still no matter how you look at it 14 rebounds for shaq in his second game with a new team who is completely different than one he has ever played on is pretty darn good.
50-32!!! would you ever imagine the Suns would do that?

It's not what Shaq does, it's what Amare does. Shaq made everyone from Horace Grant to Karl Malone to Udonis Haslem look great. If Amare steps up his game in the second half of the season (and he has so far), all credit goes to the Deisel.

Shaq looked like an oversized Dwight out there. I admit that when I first heard of the Shaq trade, I thought it was a joke. But when I heard people say that Shaq couldn't run, I didn't buy that. Of all the athletic activities used in basketball, straight running is by far the easiest on an aging body. Shaq has lost weight, he'll lose more running, and he may last until he's 40.
Grant Hill looks like he's in his twenties -- not Grant in his twenties, but a good player of that age. Last year at this time he was having enough pain that he had started talking about retirement again. Playing defense against shooting guards was killing him. He had to get down, then move laterally. My old legs ache just thinking about it. But Grant can run. The running game is perfect for old timers.
Shaq makes Amare better. Nash makes everyone better. This team is going to be fun to watch.
This was a very passionate game. It looked like Amare and KG were about to exchange punches on more than one occasion.

I still like the trade for Phoenix, Amare will be a badass out there with Shaq on his side...
Now if only Dwight could play next to the diesel....... nasty

did you watch the game last night? 14 rebounds a few blocks and like 6 points. they dont need him to score they have enough fire power at that end but it would be wrong to say that he hasnt helped them on the boards and on defense which is exactly what they need
