Shaq pumping up his team...

He has always been doing that.

Kobe saying he was the best 2 gaurd at that time in early 00's. Then Wade the best wing.

Howard doesn't even enter this discussion.

Except when it comes to the most votes for MVP, highest field goal percentage and rebounding champion - then Duncan doesn't come into the discussion.

There are maybe 2-3 players that play Dwight straight up btw, so he must not be too bad at iso unless of course every coach in the NBA is an idiot

The ripping on DH is sorta funny. Same people were saying he wouldn't be a big time scorer and he already is. 22 and 16 is SICK - particularly in such a balanced offense.

I can't even remember the topic lol, but people need to enjoy the show...we are witnessing some amazing sht every night with the kid,
"And with Dwight, he's Moses Malone at 22, Shaq at 22 and Tim Duncan.

I think we all will.

Nobody really doubts Dwight's capabilities, and nobody is not saying he isn't spectacular. However, some of the things mentioned are a bit premature for him. There's nothing wrong with being worse than two of the best PF's in history when they're in their prime and you're just beginning your career.

Howard has as much chance as anyone ever has to become the best at his position, when it's all over he'll definitely be in those types of circles.

We were talking about who the better player was, and we weren't even talking about who the better offensive player was. But if we were, we'd be talking about who the BETTER OFFENSIVE PLAYER was not the one with the prettiest jump shot. Results = offense. It doesn't matter if a guy can bounce a ball off his ass into the basket, if he can do it for 30 ppg then he's a 30 ppg scorer. It's that simple whether you like it or not.

I bet that would make one of those highlight DVDs. I'd pay to see it. LOL...

Something that was really good to see in Sunday's game....That play when Dwight was totally surrounded by four guys and just launched himself out of the middle of that pack of players for a dunk. Yes, it was a dunk, but he didn't turn it over in traffic, and in the past, he very well might have. It was a time when Dwight decided he wasn't going to be denied and he wasn't. I liked the determination he showed.

Dwight is not better than Garnett or Duncan..... I agree, however, it is not as homeristic statement to say Dwight is better as some of you think.

Dwight is nowhere near the defender either one of those guys are, he is not as experienced and proven, and he can't even come close to their offensive abilities..... BUT... These guys are aging as we speak. Garnett has not played a game for over a month and Duncan disappears in many games, to the point that many experts are claiming the Spurs to be "Manu's team".

Fact of the matter is, you could make a case for neither Garnett or Duncan being the best players in their teams...Dwight is clearly the best player wearing a Magic uniform.

If I needed a player for a playoffs series or the game of m life, I'd take both Duncan and Garnett ahead of Howard... But for a full 82 game season + playoffs? Give me Dwight

As far as Shaq goes... He called Kobe the best player in the NBA, then went to Miami and called Wade the best player in the NBA.. Then a week ago said he's been saying Kobe was the best player in the game since 1998. I'd say he has as much credibility as pinochio

If Pierce, Manu, or Parker were on this team, it'd be horribly unclear that Dwight is our best player too.

Dwight doesn't get points in the Dwight vs KG/Duncan debate because KG/Duncan have far better players around them...

I don't know any dumb ass who would pick Garnett over a prime Shaq. Shaq is a top ten ever player and one of the most dominant forces we've ever witnessed. Shaq has led 2 teams to the NBA finals and was also a key player of a third team making it there. Shaq>>>>Garnett and by a distant mile

^^there is onyl one dumbass - thats oakanintheeast :)

shaq CRUSHES KG. It is not even close. Do championships count anymore? KG avoids contact and shaq steps on people like they are ants. In their prime shaq absolutely detroys kg....you are now making a fool of yourself entirely :)

Bleh, been ignoring this thread because living in South Florida its hardly news for Shaq to be saying some crap or the other. Dwight is clearly the best center in the league. Even my Heat loving fans have been saying that all year. Every now and again they pitch me some player besides Wade for Dwight and then break out into laughter.
