Name me one other player putting up 22/15/2 on 60 percent..you can't.

Big men just usually don't get the shots down the stretch. These pundits do not account for a players pressence. Hedo gets freed up because of Rashard and Dwight, their defenders can't leave those two or hedo will get them the ball.

Jemele Hill is a tool, who cares what that fat ass says? and Skip Bayliss? he's the white scoop jackson, minus the race bull.

Howard is on pace to be the fifth different NBA baller with a 20/10 season and 60%FG.

Five players ever!

Don't kill me for this:
Dwight is our franchise player, so he is a franchise player.
But he needs to develop a whole lot as a player and as a leader in order to become the successful franchise player we want him to become.

I think everyone agrees that there are real holes in Howard's game. Starting with his ability to handle the ball in the low post. He must get better at reducing TOs. From there, he needs to become a much better passer out of the high post. Lewis will fire away with the three ball for years to come. Howard can pad his assists total here. Finally, Howard needs to at the same time be more aggressive on weak side defense , and be more controlled. If he can package both, he might average 5 bpg some year in the future.

What Howard will not significantly improve on is FT shooting. Realistically, it won't happen. Only Karl Malone made the strides. There's another 1000 combo-bigs that never improved.

Dwight is the definition of a franchise player.

Not sure why people bring up kobe and mj (either one). Are you asking if he is one of the top 10 players ever? These are different questions. The best center in the NBA (sorry yao) is obviously a franchise player.

The two people that brought this up ought on TV to be shot. Poll the nba GM's. I bet every single one would use Howard as their building block - it's pretty much Dwight, James, Wade and Paul right now if you are considering age.

No one seems to even blink when he has a 26/18/2 type game. However, people LOVE to point out his flaws.

The questions those idiots should have been asking is "Are we really worthy of expressing opinions about the NBA on tv?" :)
"And with Dwight, he's Moses Malone at 22, Shaq at 22 and Tim Duncan.

It was Skip Bayless and Jemele Hill.....

SKIP BAYLESS and JEMELE HILL.....

Also, Dwight Howard has the same personality that Magic Johnson had during games....Jermaine O Neal isn't the "goofy" type and look at his on court production over the past couple of years....

have you noticed that every time they mention the east they say the east is weak except for Boston and Detroit.

yeah i can see why they say we are an average team, oh wait we beat Detroit twice, we beat the Celtics twice, and we are thirteen games above .500, and we are 21-12 on the road, why dont they consider us a top tier team again?

man i cant wait until we win our first championship so i can yell at the top of my lungs I TOLD YOU F&3*KERS SOOOOO! TO ALL THE HATERS.

as long as people (like yourself) continue watching that show and giving them ratings it will never stop. The only way to get their ridiculous opinions off hte air is to stop watching them completely.

Of course he is. He's also nowhere near his peak. He's only going to improve.

agreed
Dwight Howard on his FT struggles:

IDK about the entertainment part.

But they are there for something.......maybe BS.
