Still it would have been nice to have added some veteran piece.

i guess you guys didnt get the memo: otis doesnt like quick fixes and he doesnt want to hurt the looong term chemistry with this team..yea davis wanted to come here, but thats not our philosophy...the team we have, will be the team that leads us in the playoffs..

it seems like this year more than ever there are solid players signing for contenders mid season. It's pretty annoying

Should be edited to read... "the team we have, will be the team that leads us to defeat in the playoffs"

Bottom line is this also says a lot of what this team really is. It's mentioned as a contender, yet not one of these FA's want to come play here. Ratliff knows he won't get run in Detroit but he could have gottena lot of run here where need a big like him. SO yea, it's quick fix for thsi year until we get Battie back. A healthy Ratliff is better than Battie.

The same can be applied one's posts on the forum. If there's an overwhelming amount of negativity, then people make assumptions about that poster.
