28 million? no, marion will not be opting out either...they won't get any players to make them significantly better (iggy, emeka, etc.) and if they don't get the first pick, they're probably looking at a 50 loss season next year...getting kg and ray allen in one summer is a once in 20 years thing...trust me, the heat will need a couple of seasons before they're back where they were 2 years ago
I live rent free in your head. You know who you are

I've seen him a bunch.....gotta disagree.
Beasley is so talented and versatile down low.......it's sick.
He'll be a long time all star after he gets his feet wet the first couple of years.

Do you care to explain why he wouldn't ? He'd be an idiot not to . What if he has a career ending injury next year ? Then he's out alot damn money .If it's me I opt out and sign another deal . Obviously he would be taking a pay cut for next season but in the long term he has alot more guaranteed money if he opts out .

Agreed. This is not the year to have the number one pick...this draft class looks pretty pathetic top to bottom.

You're kidding right ??
Beasley and Rose will be bonafide All-stars for years.
Anyway, off topis but I would trade Shard for marion in a heartbeat.

Beasleys' a poor mans Glenn Robinson right down to the attitude and inept defense. I cant comment on Rose (never seen him play), but me thinks Beasley is vastly overrated. The Heat can have him.
