What's not to get? His defense is awful. He's by far the worst defender in our lineup. He's slow laterally and short. He does try i guess but that is only going to get him so far.

IMO meer is the worst defensive starting PG in the league. And the sad thing is he is the only PG on our roster that even merits getting starting consideration.

I disagree with the worst defensive PG, but I meant I dont get why everybody was blaming Meer for Bibby abusing Dooling.. I know Meer's D sucks but even Goukas said he was playing hiim better than Dooling was.

Looking at the box score:
Looks like Rashard is hitting a slump, and Dwight didn't get the ball much (hopefully he tried to play defense, but I doubt he did based on past games).
Kebo and Kedo shot atrociously (Kebo 1 of 8 3-point shooting).
Cookie is shooting cold, so Pat may need to take his minutes soon.
Joe Johnson owned us yet again, go figure.

Two bad efforts in one week should have SVG steaming pissed. The good news though is that we face the Spurs Tuesday. So win that, and it helps erase these efforts.
It's obvious to me now that we are indeed cruising in most of these games, but as long as it doesn't cost us the 3rd seed (which it won't), I'm ok with it. Simply because for the most part our team has stayed healthy and I don't think our guys want to change that.
Plus, it's fun playing possum late in a season and then push down on the pedal come playoff time.

Not just SVG ...

Bibby's D is even worse than Jameer's. Jameer is someone who actually contributed last night. To blame the loss on him is just hatred.

Keith Bogans was the biggest part off the L.

I think anyone blaming Jameer for this loss is being ridiculous. Jameer played as well as anyone, if not better. The blame can be pretty evenly distributed. I thought Hedo was lazy as heck on the defensive boards. Looked like he didn't want to get hurt going after the ball. He and the rest of the team looked like they were pretty much cruising.

See man this is complete bs. Thats not even close to being true

OK. So he's in the bottom 5.

Im not blaming jameer for the loss last night at all....i actually thought he played pretty well last night. But in general Jameer kills us on the defensive end almost every game.

Only 33 pages in a loss? Ya'll must have been out partying on Saturday.

Go back and look at the play by play. I was shocked, but Bibby got hot at the end of the third/beginning of the fourth quarter while Dooling still was on the floor.

Only 5 shots for Dwight was bad.

Woodson changed the matchup at center, taking Horford out early against Dwight and then putting him back in as soon as Foyle got on the floor. As a whole, I think Woodson has done a better job in adjusting the matchups in this one series than Stan has. Horford went off when Foyle was on the floor. The Magic's need for a young, energetic big really showed there. Stan either is allergic to young players or Auggie really can't compete at this level.

I actually thought that Jameer was one of the few players that looked like he was interested in winning that particular game.

Our forwards couldn't buy a bucket. And apparently NO ONE could slow down Joe Johnson (as usual).
