you really think that guys like Iverson and Davis are realistic?

i'll add them though...

No thief I don't, but there are others that are realistic however. Here is a quick list that I see as possibilities.

Maggette
Artest
Posey
Eddie Jones
Jeff Foster
Mihm
Swift
Pargo
Booth
James Jones
Damien Wilkens
Nesterovic
....and my favorite, drum roll please, Grant Hill! lol. Sure, some of those are out of reach, but there are a few names there that could work for us.

I liked Childress but listening to Hawk fans about Josh I'm starting to think I might stay away.

I'm not buying into the Maggette or Artest stuff. If they had signed big contracts before perhaps I could imagine. I don't see these guys signing MLE contracts.

I don't think we need scoring anymore - Maggette needs the ball to be effective, he is injury pron and not a great defender. Stop crying for big name FA's, we don't need that with our current firepower. Just one or two solid defenders and solid pros, thats all it takes to make us a complete team.

the max landry can go for is the mle. i am not so sure the rockets would match the mle when they have scola, hayes, yao, and probably deke again. but giving the mle to landry is a big risk because he is somewhat injury prone. turiaf would be a good choice too.

Landry has moved ahead of Hayes in the Rockets' pecking order, I think.

Jason Williams shouldn't have a star by his name. He sucks. Chris Duhon is the PG we need. Well Calderon is but this isn't Fantasy Island.

I like your Craig Smith pick..he would be great. If we can do a Sign and trade I would love Marko Jaric. A bit of a big contract but I think he'd fit in nicely here.

Bogans, Redick...

I say trade a S&T Arroyo and Bogans to the Clips for Tim Thomas and then sign Diamantidis or Childress for the MLE. Draft a PG like Collison if you sign Childress, or a SG like Walker, Rush, or Weaver if you sign Diamantidis. That would be an amazing summer.

Well, not necessarily. It depends on how much they are worth to another team. If a wants to sign a player to an MLE deal but also likes one of the Magic's free agents and Orlando is willing to part with him (or that player wants to leave Orlando), a sign-and-trade still could be done with the players on the expiring contracts and the new team that might want the current Magic player.

Yeah, but I seriously doubt anybody want a new contract of any of our expirings. Except maybe Dooling.
