I agree that the Magic would be good for him, but I don't think he would be good for us. Between Jameer, JJ, and whomever we draft in the first round, we have enough projects on a team that is built to win in the near-term. Our MLE should go to a guy who can give us steady minutes every night.

I cannot see GM Smith parting with MLE money for Livingston. But for LLE, why not?

Agreed. I would take him on the cheap (obviously unlikely to happen), but I wouldn't sacrifice our only real opportunity to improve this offseason.

doesn't matter what Smith will or wont do...Livingston will not accept the LLE, he's a talented young player, regardless of his injury, there would be no reason for him to sign such a deal...not to mention that the Clippers are interested in keeping him, and he would be best off with them any way...
