Looks like both teams involved in the deal likely will be without the guy they traded for the first round of the playoffs (though the Magic do have Mo, he wasn't originally the target).

What i got from the story is that its healing but its taking longer than expected. And still has quite a bit of healing left to go.

Out here in LA, they are freaking out on sports radio. They are saying he might need a bone graft if it isn't healing. They are also saying Bynum may not be back at all this year, and if he is, he won't be effective.

I tell you though, if Ariza can ever get truly healthy, and reach his full potential, they're going to have a gem. To me, a fully healthy Laker team, man 1-12 is pretty damned scary. Ariza being they're 6th man makes them very, very dangerous.
