I just hope the people of Orlando don't make themselves look like a bunch of jackasses by booing during the Canadian National Anthem. I would hope it wouldn't happen, but I wouldn't be terribly surprised if some asshats in the crowd were that stupid and started making noise during it.

I've been to quite a few of the Toronto games, and I can't recall this reaction from the Orlando crowd. Did it happen at a game you went to?

Well, do you remember when we went to the Finals and in Game 1, we played that really goofy song during the Rockets' starting lineup? I think it sort of underlines how average of a franchise we are that we don't know how to act on the big stage. And, of course, when we went to Houston, they played "It's a Small World" during ours as revenge.

That still has nothing to do with the supposed crowd reaction. The Orlando crowd may boo former players, but I can't recall them being THAT disrespectful to a National Anthem.

Right right, I'm not talking fans specifically, I'm just citing an example of the Orlando organization acting in poor fashion in past playoff experiences. As for the fans -- well that's anyone's guess. I really hope we don't boo. It would make us look bad, just like the goofy music did. We need to not act like a little kid who suddenly finds himself at the adults' table. We need to act like we belong at the adults' table to begin with -- both the fans and the organization.
