The deal was/is available. The only thing the city was unwilling to do was tear up the contract the Sonics signed for Key arena early. That lease expires after one more year.

This new ownership group has been offered new arena scenarios but has been unwilling to explore any of them.

All right. I can see why they're upset with Bennett then. I would be too.

A lot of people have criticized RDV, but this kinda puts it all into perspective, doesn't it?

That really bites.

I truly believe that moving WAS the agenda when the Sonics were sold.

Sad for Seattle. Great fans.

Two reasons. One being the Magic always started hot and then crashed the second half of the season. Second, everyone was expecting the Nets and Cavs and Bulls and Raptors to just wake up and play like last year. Cook was a bust as predicted but Evans turned out to be better than Bogans, not by much but better.
