A) He's earning his C.

B) I'm sure he greatly wants to improve on his PO performance for last year.

This is part of what I meant by more practice, more film and walk throughs on the court. I was assuming though that Stan would be going over game film with the entire team, or am I mis-reading this that its extra time we are talking about? Good to see that he's taking initiative either way though. A team leader is starting to emerge.

He is. At the press conference after the Washington, that's what he said they would be doing this evening/tonight and then I guess implementation would be in tomorrow's practice.

I don't know what happens with game-day shootarounds when a game is that early like it is on Sunday.

This reported viewing sounds like Dwight doing really focused viewing - on Bosh or on how the defensed him the times the played in the past.

I would imagine that the team would be watching the other team's tenancies and how they run their offense/defense. This would be so the Magic know how to play help defense without playing into their hands.

I think the way they actually watch film is they break it down into groups by position - bigs, two-guards, points each with an assistant.

they will most likely have group time though...to discuss break downs, and strategy

"dwight you do this here, as you see they react this way, at that time meer you do this, evans you pull back here, they do that"

so on and so on...

Truth. I don't think Dwight took a lot of games during the regular season very seriously, and it showed defensively. A focused Dwight, could be the shotblocker I have been waiting to see.

Hey I am just as happy as the next guy to hear this.. But as some others said, this is exactly what he should be doing.. Not that he is going above and beyond the call of duty.. He says he wants to be the best and go all the way.. You cant have that without taking these kind of steps
There will be life after Dwight.

Probably just plenty of sleep, breakfast, and warmups at that point. They should have already crammed for the test by then. Got to get in the heads of their opponent, know their instincts and tendencies. Hopefully their doing that right now. The playoffs are a whole different beast, Stan will have them ready.

You are so taking Dwight for granted. It's a really bad habit that I hope not many people get into. There are a lot of guys who are team captains and getting paid a lot of money who don't do that stuff. That is why Dwight is going to keep getting better and some other guys won't.

i thought kebo was a scrub last season b/c his shot selection was annoying..but this year..i like his game..he's been hitting his shots and playing excellent defense...

when i call a balelr a scrub..i mean it in the friendliest way possible meaning they are subpar at their profession but they would still dominate anyone else that is not in the nba.
