We had court-side seats for that game, and were making our way up the stairs when Lynch inbounded it. Did a complete 180 and caught the drive for the lay-up just in time.

DA is my second favorite player. Nick being the first. But I think its time I got a DA jersey. Ya know for when we go to the finals!

Ah, the life of a Magic fan in Australia.

The day of that game I was couped up in the university labs, pretending to be doing my tutorial work while watching the NBA.com boxscore... hiding in the back corner so the lecturer couldn't see me screen... we were down 1, with 2 seconds left, Philly ball... ugh, oh well game over... page refreshes and we won the game... I was like WTF? I almost jumped out of my chair and got busted

It was only later that night when I got home I got to actually see it on sportscenter.

DA was the man.

Still maybe the best finish I will witness live.
Penny set the triple screen (initially double that would become triple with AI not being able to pursue Flash).
It was the game that Darrell would lead to the need for him to have a nickname, and then the next game's radio pregame with numerous callers coming up with ideas. Until Scott Anez dubbed Darrell 'Flash'.

The celebrations with Nick, Harpring and Ho Grant were awesome too. Crazy as all hell. Damn arena erupted before Flash was about to lay it up we knew he'd make it.

We should've never let him go. He was a true BBall hustler and it would be great to see him retire in a Magic uniform!!! I'd get rid of Garrity and the other guy for DA anyday!

GO MAGIC!

Return to Orlando Magic
