Drawing charges is a part of the game. Falling to the floor when no player is within a 5 foot radius of you isn't.

Flopping has become an art, much in the way that John Stockton used to coyly grab and hold opponents jerseys.

Don't like it either, but it ain't going away.
Basketball is driven by three principles:

1) Movement 2) Application of fundamentals 3) Predictability

Then I think the Magic should start counterflopping.

I don't have a problem with the players flopping. They're trying to get an edge. I do have a problem with refs falling for it. And until that changes, or until refs get the power to issue techs for flopping (like I believe they do in Europe), it's not going away.

Maybe if all five Magic starters fall to the floor as soon as the ref tosses the opening jump ball...

Truer words have not been spoken.

I'm not trying to condone the flopping, but it's working, so why would the players stop what's working? People moaning about the flopping just sound like little babies. Especially the people stereotyping Bosh as a wuss. Bosh is just smart. So is Ginobili, much as I hate to admit it.

If the league thinks it's a bad thing, they'll discourage so many flop calls. Hopefully they do institute such a ruling.

I have lost all my respect for him because he constantly whines on the other end when he doesn't get the call. The worst was when he got pissed that he didn't get the call so he runs into Dwight and gets an offensive foul called on Dwight. Bosh complains about Steven A Smith calling him Manute Bol, but yet continues to play like a complete wuss. He doesn't need to do that because he's a great player with great skills. However, he has left me no choice. This is what I will bring to game 5 with me....

I like the shirt - you need a sign with that picture of Bosh flopping to go along with the shirt. It was nice to see Game 4 with Bosh not flopping - he is a talented player - he doesn't need to flop.
