Bring them on guys, I can take it. If I say my opinion I can expect to hear others that dont agree with me. But don't be threatening me with bans or censorship about it.

At the time, with the state of the eastern conference, it looked like the other teams would improve and we wouldn't. Even a few simulations liek Cactus league pro basketaball were having us at the 36-40 win level. Of course stat games dont take into account injuries to other teams, which happened to DC, Miami, Toronto and the unsigned players in Cleve, the collpase of the Bulls and Nets, and it also never factors in coaching. Stan did a great job.

Besides, I am still ticked at Otis for not getting a big man. Playing Detroit in the next round will be ugly to watch the beating they inflict on Dwight, as Detroit will play thug ball. The upside to that is that Stan is more likely to play Gortat some, and that scenario actually pleases me. If detroit gets tough, throw Marcin in there with Dwight for a while so he can watch his back.

You have solid Chicago and Toronto and Washington and Cleveland teams who were only going to get better. Jersey had 3 allstars and a few injured guys coming back. NO one knew Miami would collapse. Face it, we were facing a battle for the 8 seed. Stan did a great job, but face it, the east this year was awful. We surprised a lot of west coast teams initially witht the matchups, but a series with Detroit, all the big bodies thay can throw at us, it would get ugly.

~ 95% of the board was saying 45-48 wins.

You're prediction was way off. Combine that with your history of gloom and doom....

We remember your Dwight in a Laker jersey avatar, and your insistence on his leaving when his rookie deal was up.

So you have a track record that doesn't seem to jive with being a fan of the team. We're in the midst of our best season is a decade, with a good change of moving to 2nd round in 12 years .... and what does your avatar say now?
