Magic will need them both against the Pistons. Here are Detroit's center/power forwards (they bring a lot of fouls):
1. Rasheed Wallace
2. Antonio McDyess
3. Jason Maxiell
4. Amir Johnson
5. Theo Ratliff
6. And they will play Tayshaun Prince there, too, if they have to and could get away with it size-wise against Rashard.

Rick Rolled wrote:http://www.orlandosentinel.com/sports/orl-mnotes02a08may02,0,4300074.storyUnhappy with his reduced role in the playoffs, Orlando Magic veteran reserve center Adonal Foyle said he won't decide until the offseason whether he'll exercise an option and become a free agent.
Foyle played a little over seven minutes in two games of the five-game series against the Toronto Raptors as the club used rookie Marcin Gortat to back up Dwight Howard in all four games. Foyle played in all 82 games for the Magic this season, averaging 1.9 points and 2.5 rebounds in 9.4 minutes per game.
"You have to take it personally," Foyle said. "You have to be mad about it or you should stop playing the game. I understand the situation, but if you are a competitor, you're mad."
He seems like a really nice guy.
But man, he's just terrible at basketball. If he goes, the Warlock steps in as back-up center, and we see how the Fran situation unfolds.
Foyle is just too slow and can't handle the ball very well. While the Polish Stud is a great filler at that spot and learning every day.
It would be nice to get Cook back into the mix to help with the boards not so sure about his shooting as that takes awhile to get back after injury.
As for those who still hope for Fran he has been a dud as of late and with his buyout clause being in Euro's the cost in dollars just keeps going up and up. So for those who want Fran with the Magic you are going to have to cough up 30 million dollars or more considering how the dollar is in a free fall compared to the Euro.

Foyle might well has his role against the Pistons; they've got a few more "traditional bigs" than Raptors and we might well need an actual anchor on the court at all times - maybe even have him in with Dwight at some stage aswell.
Raptors after game 1 played small ball nearly 48 minutes of each game; and Foyle has zero role against that.
In the offseason though - Battie coming back and the emergence of Gortat as a decent backup certainly reduces the need for Foyle - who we did need early in the season; with only Bo and Garrity as our backups.
Going into next season we've got Battie, Cook and Gortat as big's; and hopefully a new fella aswell; the need for Foyle is very little.
He's had his uses; and still does, this season.

Foyle will play against the Pistons, they are much bigger and more physical than teh Raptors, nothing to worry about.

I always thought Foyle was a true professional, but now Im not so sure. As long as he has been in this league, he should be the first to see why he wasnt used in the series. On the first posession, Bosh flew by him like he didnt exist then an easy jumper right over him with not much resistance.
However, he will be much needed against the Pistons. Gortat is not strong enough to guard Maxiel nor Sheed.
I just cant believe that he is stupid enough to go public and sour the mood in the best time of this frenchise. What a shame. He can just go this offseason, we just wont need him.

Foyle hate...
Foyle adds another dimension to our front line, while has has his glaring weaknesses, he's still a serviceable big in certain match ups. He plays strong down low and can still block shots, he's not Mutombo but he's still a skilled veteran. At his price, he brings as much + as he does - for his role.

And he did throw down the hammer on the Raps earlier in the year.....which almost, and I stress ALMOST felt better than a Garrity Dunk.

Oh Im not hating on him, Im just questioning his professionalism. JJ has been sitting on the bench all season long. This is the playoffs, teams do what ever needed to win. Him sitting on the bench due to match up issues is simply no reason for him to go public and bring the organization's mood down. If anything, he should say the team needs to win and I will what ever it takes for us to win, even if it means me sitting on the bench. Thats being a professional.

I agree with this.
Based on the comments I read on here throughout the season, I thought that he was undervalued by most. As much as people love to knock his lack of lateral quickness and vertical jump, he did play 82 games of good defense and great hustle.
