Basically if Howard could keep from getting stripped in the box, he would already be dominant. Those 3-4 TOs per game are probably 4 ppg not in the score sheet.

But, if the Magic trade Turkoglu for a typical PF or for a quality SG, I expect Howard's stats to dip. But his points per shot and EFF to go up.

If 30 ppg is a powerhouse scorer, then Howard may never get that.

You guys are overthinking things. All he needs to do is bulk up some more so he can always overpower everyone.

He's 22. He has about 6 years to get into his prime. He is very raw but he has imporved on his moves since entering thr league. Remember Howard has averaged more points every year in the to where he is now at 20.1. Hes developing quit nice.

I think we'll see more in his offense as early as next year.

From what I can make out him and Pat have been working on some moves and shots and he possess them already - just doesnt want to use them "untested". With important games and stretches then the playoff's he probably didnt have a real chance to get them in properly. We could see as early as next season w/ another offeseason/preseason to work on them, gain a bit of confidence.

Talking about things like the hook over the right shoulder, a face up "short" jumper and variations between. Should see him being able to score in a varity of different ways near the ring - and maybe edge a bit further out as the seasons start to tumble.
