We need another aggressive offensive rebounder on this team.

lol, I think she counted "and an emergency pg" as another separate person.
I meant Darrell Armstrong with 2 roles: vet for leadership and emergency PG.
You have such a strong opinion about getting a PF, which I can understand, so I'm asking you what your rotation would be, you continue to avoid my question. What PF would you get and would you have them starting at PF and Turk out of the starting lineup or at SG or what?

Excuse me you do mention 19, but 18 still fits my point you can only have 15 on a team.![]()

And Adam the Geek ss Greek yes I know you love Darko, but he was and still is a total bust who thought he was worth more then the Magic were going to offer him.
As another poster mentioned he just couldn't or wouldn't keep in the kind of shape to play the kind of game that Brian Hill played so there is no way he could have well under SVG's gameplan.
I find it funny how you diss one of these guys favorite player for being a bust, when one of your favorite players is JJ Redick. Darko at least can make a rotation when he has crappy players playing his position around him, unlike JJ.

Anyway, to throw in with the opinion bowl, my first preference is for Otis to keep it simple. That means upgrading with the MLE at the spot of most need, the 2. Then adding depth through the draft, FA, and bringing over Fran. If Otis gets happy feet and decides he can pull a trade out of his behind, than it had better be a good one. I like where this team is at and I really don't want Otis to screw it up.
My Keeping it simple lineup
Nelson, Chalmers, Jason Williams
Childress, Redick, Bogans
Hedo, Gerald Green
Lewis, Battie, Cook, Fran
Howard, Gortat, Foyle

That looks pretty good. Jason Williams for the vet minimum and Gerald Green for the LLE?

Yup. I like Green for his upside and Williams for his chocolaty goodness. I let Dooling go just to force Stan into playing JJ. Bring Fran over to take the place of Battie in two years, for which I still think he's more than capable of doing. It's either Bogans or Evans, and Bogans has the PO. The same goes for Foyle and Augie. I'd rather keep Augie but Foyle has the PO so it's in his hands. Childress would be absolutely sick for this team.

honestly, i think the poor defensive rebounding in the 4th quarter of game 4 contributed just as much to our loss as the missed free throws and dubious substitutions.
you can't go into the 4th quarter with the score tied and just let a team like the pistons get second chance points.
the pistons missed 10 shots in that quarter and got 5 offensive rebounds.
that should never happen. especially when one of those offensive rebounds has the potential to turn into a game-winning basket.
for their part, the pistons didn't exactly do a great job on their defensive glass either, but at least they kept us under 50% ORP.
if we did the same, we'd be looking at a tied series right now.
also, has anyone else taken a look at the boxscore for game 4 on popcornmachine.net?
it shows hedo and rashard combining for 3 rebounds (1 offensive) in the second half.
in that same time period, tayshaun prince had 3 rebounds by himself, 2 offensive.
i just thought that was kind of interesting.

Total rebounds
Do you like getting owned or make yourself look like a fool ?
Since when do you get 2nd chance points from defensive rebounds ?
You said they had more offensive boards this whole series and I said that's not the case, you even got cocky saying I needed to check my facts and that I was wrong, when in fact we had more offensive boards than Detroit.

Well unlike Darko who got minutes and still didn't produce, Redick on the other hand hasn't been given a chance other then summer league where he performed great, but I can hear you already putting that down to garbage time.
Darko has gotten his chances three fold and done nothing that is why I call him a bust.

Please just answer my damn question. You want another rebounder, what would be your ideal realistic situation to get one and what would your rotation be?
Britton Johnson played great in summer league too, where is he now? We can get on this JJ argument in another thread that will end up popping up. btw, Darko is still a year younger than JJ.

The Bucks could make the playoffs next year, and Hedo would look great next to Redd. If Milwaukee threw in Ivey or Storey as a SnT guy to balance the salaries, this looks very logical to me.
Are you actually saying trade Hedo for Villanueva + Ivey or Storey??

The guy has to be the most inconsistent player in the league right now. Sure, his offensive game would fit the Magic right now but he isn't a very good defender and I definitely wouldn't describe him as "an aggressive offensive rebounder" because his on-switch is only turned on half the time. He's not even remotely close to Hedo IMO.
