i think nest year we will be strong enough and experienced enough and well-meshed together that we can make a push for the finals...i don't expect a title until the 09-10 or 10-11 season
I live rent free in your head. You know who you are :D

Not changing this sig until Magic win a championship. Started 6/26/2015.

No, we were 12 games better on regular season and did we get swept on the first round this year?
Your post makes absolutely no sense.

edit: lol, you should have wrote that in green font... you voted we had a great season

i didnt read a word you said, to busy looking at your avatar zuppa:lol:

we had a very good season this year..and if we only make it 5 games, then thats fine.we were competitive and could easily be up in the series.this team fell short on games 2 and 4..it wasnt a 1 sided event like last year even if we win just 1..im optimistic we will win tonight though

maginno wrote:SO how much more do you think dwight does? He is ALREADY at a high level. Say his defense steps up and he averages five more points per game with say 4 or 5 more rebounds. That would be great but does that give us a break down the defense player when teams play him straight up that can. Does it plug the holes at the guard positions? Come on! putting g everything on Dwight to improve the team is too much

If Dwight scored 5 more points and grabbed 4 more boards per game - all things equal - we win this series.

5 more points and 4 more rebs per game then you are getting pretty close to Wilt-like numbers.

A big step for Magic improvement next year would be Dwight working on his free throws, adding a jumper and or a baseline fadeaway...some kind of go to moves which would keep people guessing would help the Magic greatly...

Magic have competed in these playoffs, and may even still pull it out. Fact.

Super Star in Lewis

Those are the facts.

Just those two points above mark you as clearly delusional. The Magic are not good enough to win three straight. that and Battie as a starting PF for anything but a bigless team marks your lack of years following the NBA. Nothing further need be stated to that post.

Great season? We're about to lose to a team who's playing without their best player. This season has been another disappointment. :(

yeah well I more meant that as a max. Historically dwight's added three points a game and 2 rebounds. It might level out this year though unless he starts adding some more offensive moves.

Of course even as an imaginary projection thats an average for the regular season with all teams not playoffs as Gato tried to imply. In the playoffs as in this year when Dwight meets better big men he naturally drops off his averages. When teams have the bigs to play him straight up they are much better able to shut down our heavy dependence on the outside shot.

Sorry but you can't expect better three point shooting next year (unless JJ springs forth rather than being traded) so if we are to improve it can't all come from Dwight. We have to have a break down defender kind of offensive player. I can break down the history of big men winning a championship with that kind of player or players. Its absolutely necessary and the history is so strong its not even up for debate.

This time of year almost every playoff team's fans says the next year or two will be the year. Just talk unless you can upgrade. top 5? Which one logically can you take out of the list if you cant beat detroit? Lakers, Spurs, Hornets, Boston, Utah? those teams look solid for at least two three more years.

If the lead holds without billups thats a valid assessment don't make anyone throw you off it. The game is far from over though.
