I had this fantasy of SVG surprising the Pistons by putting Gortat in the starting lineup last game. It would have upset the Piston's plans for neutralizing Dwight.
It's unbelieveable how close the scores were in games in which we bombed on FTs and kept throwing away the ball. That means we were doing a lot that was right. Unless there are some (highly unlikely IMO) major changes in our team next year, the TOs should go down as our players learn to work together better. That's a maturity problem. But if there were any way to convince Otis to get us a FT coach.... He says that Dwight is the only problem. But the rest of our SL are excellent shooters and still miss way too often at the FT line. It's so tiresome to know that fouling the opposing team's player is an automatic 2 points, and they get a bargain when they foul our guys.
