Say good bye to: Pat, KeBo, Arroyo, maybe Meer

acquire banger pf/c via draft, trade or FA

acquire sg via draft, or FA

work with Dwight on his hand skills, he fumbles the ball often.

Get a real PF in the lineup and trade or move turk to the bench.

HEDO :wavefinger:

I always think of if we draft R.brewer rather than JJ
we will be even better :banghead:

A) How are you going to "free" up Jameer's contract?

B) Not enough. Between Rashard, Hedo, Dwight and Jameer, we're over the cap. So MLE is the best.

C) If you're suggesting S&T for Baron, then they probably can do a whole lot better.

guess we keep Meer and Dooling and draft a pg. maybe move up in draft to get franchise type pg.

is it possible to get Calderon, he'll be a FA and will be tuff to get away from TOR

We dont need to draft for a starting pg... what was our main problem vs detroit and even toronto? The sg position. Halmilton dominated us, if we draft a rebounding defensive shooting guard.... Jameer played good in the playoffs, it may be nice to get a back up, but lets use our draft pick to get a solid shooting guard. imagine if we can get CDR a 6'7'' sg who can shoot play d and rebound. Or Brandon Rush who is 6'6'' with a 6'10'' rebound who can shoot the three and play d and rebound... we need to focus our draft on getting one of these two. Whether it means trading jj to draft up a couple places or doing some kind of sign and trade...

I'll take either those guys or Eric Gordon.

There just are varying degrees of difficulties for each scenario.

Baron = high degree of difficulty.

A S&T would be likeliest way ..

Hedo would work with the frenetic pace they play at. But would they still play the same way without Baron?

Would a 3rd team need to be involved? Which one?

Who else would they want? JJ? Who else?

redick is going to be valuable trade bait in whatever we do for our offseason move... whether it be trading up in the draft of trading for an existing nba player

The only players I'd trade for on the Knicks are the same players who work well under the D'Antoni system - Jamal Crawford, David Lee. That's it.

Redick has value to other teams. It just depends what you want in return. I wouldn't expect too much. Otis doesn't have a big track record of getting good return for small pieces. We'll see though. I like to remain optimistic. Due to his small salary Redick is probably best used as a fill-in, unfortunately.
